Job Position: Spa Manager (Equity)

Location: Port Elizabeth

 

Salary: R15 000 per month

 

Shifts

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Beauty Therapist Diploma / Certificate
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in similar position in a Spa
  • Ability to cope with demanding customer requirements and different situations
  • Ensure positive team spirit
  • Required to work 45 hours per week, Mondays to Sundays, including Public Holidays, as per schedule
  • Required to work a minimum of 3 or 4 weekends per month, depending on the length of month
  • Required to perform all treatments
  • To be able assist all members of staff if requested
  • Ensure that all commission summaries are kept up to date and are correct
  • Responsible for all cash, payments and receipts while on reception duty

 

 

Key Performance Areas

  • Daily product sales and assist other staff members to increase their daily product sales and implement training to assist them
  • Implement promotions and liaise with the Head Office
  • Ensure group conferences are booked / promoted / planned / followed up etc
  • Implement marketing / public relations / advertising and promotions
  • Monthly revenue targets are achieved
  • Oversee weekly and monthly stock take and place product orders
  • Ensure the ambience of the spa is always soft, professional and quiet
  • Ensure spa is always immaculate / music is played / voices are kept low
  • Ensure that the budget figures, both expenses and target are monitored and necessary procedure implemented to achieve such figures
  • Submit Capex for equipment for spa
  • Accountable for assistant managers responsibilities
 

Job Position: Marketing and Venue Manager

Location: Port Elizabeth

 

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualification

 

Wednesday to Sunday – 9 am to 4.30 pm

 

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • To start as soon as possible
  • Experience in marketing and advertising
  • Experience with arranging functions, managing company social media, website and advertising etc
  • Extrovert, well groomed and spoken lady with strong people skills
  • Catering experience highly advantageous
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
  • Will have to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as well as arrange functions

  • Manage company social media and website
  • Advertising
  • Responsible for venue hire and running of 2 pubs which includes stock control, staff management – kitchen and waitresses / waiters
  • Bring in new business to the company

  • Required to perform all treatments

 

 

Key Performance Areas:

 

  • Retail minimum 30% of turnover monthly
  • Promotion of services available and special promotions
  • Prescribe homecare products to each guest
  • Follow up with regular clients and encourage them to return
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and professional service
  • Ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related queries with members and guests
  • Ensure guests complete Consultation Card before commencing treatment
  • Ensure guests complete Comment Cards after treatments
  • Perform expected quota of treatments monthly
  • Participate in staff training for all aspects on the spa operations, services and retail sales
  • Perform treatments in accordance with standards set out in Spa’s Standards and Procedures Manual
