Job Position: Cost Accountant (Equity)

Qualifications / Requirements

  • B.Com or Diploma in Cost Accounting
  • 3 years cost accounting experience – (in automotive/related manufacturing environment – advantageous)
  • SAP experience essential
  • Working knowledge of SAP, IFRS and budget management

Key Performance Areas:

  • Analyse, investigate and report on the costs and variances of production and stock within the business to optimise profitability of the organisation
  • SAP related month-end tasks, processing of Journals and weekly / monthly reporting and costing on SAP
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and expense accounts
  • Processing Labour Broker invoices and reconciling to statements
  • Analyse, process and report on transport costs and reconcile to supplier statements
  • Prepare weekly and monthly production, productivity, manning and loss figures for management meetings
  • Assist with preparation of profitability and cost studies
