Qualifications / Requirements

  • Formal relevant Degree / Diploma
  • Extensive knowledge in all sub-disciplines of HR and IR Management
  • Six years relevant generalist experience
  • At least three years experience at a senior management level
  • Manufacturing experience is essential, within an automotive related environment


Key Performance Areas:

  • Will be responsible for the management and leadership of all Human Resources functions for the company and ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness of such within the plant, including, but not limited to:

-          Administration systems

-          Recruitment and selection

-          Employee relations

                    -        I.R

-          Training and development

-          Manpower and human resources management

-          Strategic focus

-          Performance management

-          HR Planning, i.e. budgets and financial control

-          Policies and procedures

-          Operational




Job Position: Career Centre Co-ordinator (Equity)

Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years recruitment or training and development experience
  • Minimum of Advanced Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Valid drivers licence and own vehicle (essential)
  • Advanced computer literacy essential – Ms Office
  • Customer service orientation, high levels of energy and self-motivation
  • Highly effective communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent administration and time keeping skills
  • Shown ability to manage work and self proactively
  • Enjoy working and networking with people
  • Proven track record and excellent presentation skills

  • Access the website on a regular basis by marketing the website to clients
  • Upload job opportunities into the website
  • Source blogs for the website for career purposes

-          Establish and maintain relations with all clients

-          Ensure and enable clear and open communication between clients and company

-          Ensure compliance to the corporate identity at all times

-          Attend and participate in networking forums resulting in the increased awareness of quality graduates

-          Identify businesses to partner with

-          Market the brand and demonstrate the value of recruiting form the career centre

  • Recruitment:

-          Receive requests from clients

-          Send job specifications to clients to complete

-          Advertise jobs in relation to the relevant target market

-          Use various mediums to advertise jobs

-          Receiving and screening of CV’s

-          Obtain letters of recommendation from operations co-ordinators on suitable candidates

-          Conduct one on one interviews with the potential clients and send CV’s to clients

  • Preparation for work readiness:

-          Fill out a profile form to ascertain candidates strengths and weaknesses and create self awareness

-          Guide and advise on CV preparation

-          Guide and advise on interview techniques

-          Provide general career support

-          Design and present a range of interactive workshops in relation to work readiness

-          Host work readiness workshops by inviting industry leaders to address clients

Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Suitable candidate needs to have a stable work record (no job hoppers will be considered!)
  • Successful and proven work experience, gained as a Recruitment Consultant, is essential
  • Individual needs to be well spoken and presented and have excellent communication and negotiating skills, coupled with good written grammar and spelling
  • Strong work ethics, passion and cast iron integrity are not negotiable
  • An excellent eye for attention to detail, ability to pick up any discrepancies and strong follow up and investigative skills, required
